Hi inthetunda, your vehicle looks GREAT, same as mine however what did you do to the pillars between the doors to keep them black...I have had 3 of these cars and they all did the same thing and looks terrible. Any suggestions. Thanks

I did look through all the forums however didnt see anything.

It was a matching numbers car with the 340. I did convert it to a 4 spd, but still kept everything to convert it back to original. All cars came down the assembly line as automatics at that time, if you ordered a 4 spd car they cut a hole in the tunnel and tack welded another tunnel section in. I had all the parts to do it that way. I actually got tired of shifting the thing all the time because I put a heavy clutch in it. I still have it, its just a burnt shell laying out in the weeds. I still plan on pulling the motor out of it as my son wants it.

I remember reading about that Cuda that was destroyed in a fire. It was in some Mopar magazine over the summer. What engine did it have? Was it matching #'s? I don't know what I would do if a piece of history like that was destroyed in a fire.

I used to be the state rep for the Wisconsin Mopar Muscle Club back in the late 80's. The Cuda in the picture next to my name was mine. It was destroyed in a garage fire about 6 years ago. It made it into a few magazines and had over 100 wins at car shows. Not much I don't know about Cuda's, I had that one down to nothing and then rebuilt it. I also have some experience with the B body cars as thats what most of my friends had, also the older Dart GT's.
