Hello Dr. Dodge New to the forum also my name is Butch. I have a 2000 Dodge Intrepid 2.7 infamous engine and I recently had codes p1684 and p0406 show up in which I went an got an EGR valve which did make the code P0406 go away. The reason I was concerned with the codes was because my car began to shut off while I was driving but would fire up right back but it has began to need time maybe 45-1.5hr before you can get it to restart. It cranks up as if it wants to start as if it is out of gas. My grandad helps me with fixing the car we put the valve on yesterday the car shut off again today, we were thinking maybe fuel filter or pump maybe clogged and I was thinking maybe crank sensor? Really has been a major stressor this month would really appreciate your help

Hello Dr Dodge, My name is Andrew, new to the forum, new to Dodge Intrepids, I own a 2001 SE with the 2.7, I recently charged my AC, it went out again after 2 weeks, and suddenly, no cool air at all. my ac clutch/compressor is still engaging, I understand you work at Firestone, I'm guessing you know about these things pretty well otherwise I wouldn't have been sent to you, what do you suggest I do? I get static pressure from the compressor when off, but when its on it read below 0, I have experienced people that unfortunately for me don't live close enough to help me in the physical sense to fix this problem, they tell me its either the expansion valve or too much air/moisture in the system, what do you suggest, thank you for time, hope to chat with ya soon.

Looking for some help with my 96 intrepid 3.3L will not change gears. Replaced the solenoid pack, input & output sensors. Any help?

Dr Dodge do you know how to remove the center armrest/ seatback on the front bench seats on 02 intrepid??? i heard through the grapevine you were the one to ask (i think)?
