Might have popped a fuse, fusible link, or a relay someplace when the starter was sparking.
Check the underhood relay/fuse box. try swapping a couple of relays around.

When I picked up my Intrepid a couple of months ago, the starter relay was bad...previous owner ran 2 wires into the interior and wired a switch to it. When I got it, toggle switch was gone and had to touch the 2 wires together to engauge starter. Popped fuse and relay cover, put the relay from the AC clutch in there (AC wasn't hooked up). Now I can use the key to start it.
Check fuses and swap a couple of relays around. Forget about the other wiring.

Check your timing belt. I assume that you used the bolt on the crankshaft pully to spin the engine over to get the torque converter to flexplate bolts on.

It may have snapped/come off. Don't know what else to tell you. Seems like almost everything else has been tried, besides checking the timing belt and swapping coil packs.

Isn't that one code, 43 I think, have something to do with the coil pack?
