Part three.
Sanding prep.
If you leave the headlights in take the cardboard/paper and tape it under the headlight lens to protect bumper.
Tape off any painted areas you need protect from sanding process.
Take sandpaper and cut two 4X4 Pieces of each grit and soak in bowl of water for five minutes or so to make sandpaper pliable you can leave unused sand paper in water until needed.
Part four.
Sanding.
Spray down headlight lens with water to get it good and damp.
Starting with 900 grit fold it twice to make a thick square start sanding lengthwise across headlight always in the same direction back and forth never in a circular motion for this will leave swirl marks and a uneven look to the finished lens re wet sandpaper frequently to clean it and keep it moist.
Spray down headlight with water periodically to see progress and to remove sanding debris.
Once you see no more change to headlight lens during sanding switch to the next grit 1000,1500,2000 and 2500 till you've used all the grits.
As you go through the grits each time you change them you will see the headlight get clearer.
By now your headlights should be back to almost new like condition.
And all thats left to do now is wash them again and dry them completely and polish them with the product you've chosen using the manufactures directions and your done enjoy.
