^ I like Google Chrome--- the load page is like the intrepid vs the suburban, with the 0-60 in 8 sec. trep being Google Chrome with the 15 sec 0-60 suburban being any other browser.

thats not even a real browser....!!!
active-x applets dont work...
xml isnt supported. used in veriouse sites, for databases and othe tables displayed.
doesnt integrate with antiviruse to scan downloads ( alureon anyone?)....
it currently has SSL problems so bank websites dont always work, or allow others to potentially get your info.
maybe if facebook and Di.net is the only things you do online...
hows that flash-plugin working for you? i get alot of flash + chrome issues coming into my pc shop.

^Flash works 100% fine Lets get back to the microsoft surface setup, I highly recommend looking it up on YouTube. (and I don't use Facebook--you might remember the Google+ thread)

Fail? I don't think so.. I've never had a problem with security in Firefox. Been using it for years. Of course I don't do any banking (other than paypal) online, but as long as you know how to configure it, Firefox handles all aspects of security (site certificates etc) quite well. Not to mention the other third party protection programs I use (Malwarebytes etc)
There's definitely no "fail" here lol

I understand that Windows 8 is all about touch. For now though, I'm just getting a feel for the OS itself. The file system and core of Windows 8 is rock solid and lightning fast! With a smaller memory footprint, it's nearly twice as fast launching and running all the programs I use day to day... for example:

^^^that's just a handful of the programs I run just about everyday, and have run in the Win8 RP with outstanding results.

Seriously, people that have to send their PCs to a shop to have a browser or flash issue fixed really have no business being near a computer... lol

The only problem I have had with chrome is it locked up and died once, all I had to do was close the non-necessary processes in Task Manager.
