Hy there!

I have 97 Chrysler Concorde, this is my first car, and i love it.
But i have a problem with EGR Valve, and i don't buy a new one.
The EGR Tube is block, but after Check Engine light is on :/
Please help, how to delete EGR valve without Check Engine light?

But i dont' believe this.
by my friend New Yorker, all EGR Valve, and Tube clear.
But the Reductor remained, and the car computer is he changed.

The OBD II PCMs are able to look for egr flow using the O2 sensors where as the OBD I generally use the egr solenoid circuit for function. So you could block off the EGR or get rid of it but as long as the sol. was hooked up you could get away with it. Far as I know the OBD II would see lack of egr flow via O2 readings and trip the CEL.

Far as computer change, there isn't many computer you can swap in so I have to ask, What did he do?

My Friend New Yorker is 1995, but i don't OBD I or II.
My vehicle have ODB II. :/

It wouldn't matter if it was taken out. You don't seem to want to fix the problems anyways.

well you should just take it out and duck tape the exhaust outlet and the intake hole for it that will be you best bet
