Just found this, anyone know if you can still get the sway bars at this low price?

The Special rear sway bars have been discontinued for something like a year now. There's one or two individuals trying to sell theirs with a jacked up price of $150 or more. What's it worth to you? Just find a Special at the yard and snag one.

I found this, but can not tell you anything about the company. All I can suggest is giving them a call, but if you do let the rest of us know. lol

See if any of them are police models, if so they would have the beefier sway bar, although I have never seen a police trep in a junk yard.

You'll want to be looking for the 300M Special (not the regular 300M).
IIRC, while both the police and R/T suspension are upgraded vs. the base, neither have the same Special sway bar.

That contradicts what I've heard in the past.
Anyone have part numbers/evidence of that?

Here's your evidence. 2002 parts catalog for the rear suspension. It only lists two rear sway bars.One for SDC, SDD, SDG suspensions and one for SDE, SDB suspensions.
SDC= SE and Concorde
SDD=R/T and 300m PHP
SDG=ES. SXT and 300m Standard
SDE= 300m Special
SDB= Taxi and Police

The listing for the ES is wrong, the ES has the SDC suspension code;therefore, it is the same as the SE & Concorde.
I took my VIN for my 2000 ES to the Dealer and they verified the SDC suspension code.
Yes, same codes for the front, codes are based off your model (ES, 300M Special, etc).

Specials have '300M Special' badges, projector HID headlights, turn signals in the side mirrors, carbon fiber-looking trim across the dash and door panels (in place of the woodgrain trim in regular 300M's) and sort of a body kit (plastic trim along the bottom that makes it look lower to the ground). Oh, and the speedometer goes up to 150 MPH instead of 120.
I've been to junkyards probably a few dozen times over the past couple years, and only once have I found a Special.
