I just need to know is there anything specifically different then the base 300m and the platinum series. I know from what I found on the internet:

The Platinum Series Chrysler 300M is enhanced by a distinctive Deep Slate/Light Taupe two-tone interior, chrome door handles, deep gloss black turn signal mirrors, and 17-inch chrome wheels. The model comes complete with a standard 360-watt Infinity II Cassette/CD player, and a no-charge SIRIUS satellite radio system, complete with a one-year SIRIUS subscription.

Is there anything technically different other then these things above different from a base model and a platinum series?

Maybe some misc. badges but it looks like what you've listed above is pretty much the differences.

The Dark Slate/Light Taupe interior might've been available on later standard 300m cars. 2002 and later.

I'm not sure if the "Platinum" came with PHP suspension or if it was an option like on standard 300m cars. Check the label inside the drivers door and look for the tire rating. If it's "V" rated for tires then it has PHP suspension.

IIRC the Platinum had similar and/or the same silver door trim as the Pro-am.

Besides that, it's just the standard 300M with the Special mirrors installed.

Satellite radio is a nice touch. I have it in my trep, didn't know there was a factory head unit for it back then.

The 2004 M's had a optional satellite radio option with the RB1.
