Privacy Curtain
Was watching a show that featured the Maybach with the privacy curtains. I started thinking of how cool it would be to make ones for the 300M. Only problem is coming up with a way to do it. The one idea I came up with is guide rails on top and bottom of windows but the main issue is motorizing it. Was hoping some of you might be able to come u with some ideas on how to do this.

I can't wait to see the finished project, but do you need to have it motorized? I would go with the motor from an old toy.

If no one has seen what this is here is a video of the one in he Maybach 57. Goto time 1:40 and see it. It's a really cool idea that they came up with.
With the Maybach 62, which is the model I saw in the show, it has curtains in the rear door windows as well. I believe they work either independently or with the rear window curtain.

Its just a shame that a maybach has to drive on the same road as common people.

They were motorized?
I gotta look to see if there are parts avail for Maybachs online to see if they sell the setup. Hopefully if they do have parts online they might have the pics of them so I can see how they did it.

You did check the legality of the privacy curtains in your area, right?

Haven't seen anything about them for any states as they are only seen on high end chauffeured cars.

My mother's old 03 Deville DHS and her current 2010 DTS Platinum both have motorized privacy screens in the rear window.
