There are a few of us scattered around Washington, Oregon, and California.
I just think we're spread too far apart.

For myself, I love to drive but it's hard to get away.
I take care of my dad. He has Alzheirmer's.
If I was gone too long, he might not be here when I got back

I'm going to Salem tomorrow morning to look at a 60k base model
that I can do a swap on. (Project7). He's asking $1250 but he's
crazy, deranged and, generally, out of his mind. He has the whole
top of the 2.7L off and I have to tow it. $1250 my a**! There has to
be a way to talk him down without pissing him off.

Today I picked up a 3.5L, 60k, 2004 Trep, PJR - Onyx Green.
After I got it home, I found an Owner's Manual Supplement
in the glovebox "2004 Police Package INTREPID".

Damn, that's why you can't open the rear doors from the inside
And the front seat backs are hard plastic instead of cloth.

I bid $1400 for it but after all the COPART added costs it came
to $1825.

I was willing to bid a little higher on it because I was able to check it out
the day before. It runs and drives very nice and tight. Hell, it feels like
a truck on the freeway, the struts are so damn stiff! I drove it home without a
bumper and no plates on it...and COPART writing all over the windows

Anyway, back to the idea of having a meet in the PNW.

I'm in the SOUTH west.. California to be exact. I know it's not considered the "southwest" but geographically it's the south-west. It's really strange to me how there's almost 40 million people in California but there's only 5 or so ACTIVE members from here. Weird

i know right about 1/9 people in the US is living in cali.... thats a lot out of 50 states! but ill admit more often then not people here are not the type to jump in and start pulling stuff apart

You're 100% right about that.. Most people in California DON'T like to "get their hands dirty." If their car craps out they either take it to a mechanic or they buy another one! Also, a lot of members here have put 3.5 or larger motors in place of their 2.7/3.2 BECAUSE THEY CAN. California has super strict emissions laws. Every major car manufacturer has cars built SPECIFICALLY for California. Most people don't know that unless they live here but the decal under your hood says if your car is built with California worthy emissions parts.

hehe i cant even tell you how many times when talking to people about my car's misfire or how the trans just took a shit and EVERYONE'S first words are "you gunna buy a new one/sell it" im like WTF!!! ahaha
