I'm going to do an autostick mod to my LHS. The hard parts it to find an autostick shifter because 1gen autostick cars are rare in europe.

Is it possible to fit an autostick from Chrysler Sebring or from any other Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Plymouth car?

You can use a second Gen shifter with some adapting, but the real challenge is making the bezel for the auto stick... You may have to cut it out and make a shift boot of some sort.

What kind of modification are we talking about in here? I didn't find any previous topics.

If I remember right, it basically is that the cable mount is different at the front of the shifter body - One style the cable mount is separate from the shifter body, and the other style it is connected to the shifter. I want to say you can take the top and shifter parts from the frame of one generation and put it in the frame of the other generation... but it has been just over 2 years since I last did it, and have none on hand to work with to show you pictures or what ever.

What will you do with the bezel?

LH series cars imported to europe were Chrysler Vision and Chrysler Intrepid.
These cars were a mix of all LH series cars.
Chrysler Intrepid has the same center console like in my LHS. I can rip the bezel from one of these and cut it to fit autostick using 300M original as pattern. That is the plan I hope it works.

I understand your trouble in finding a set up - but I'm trying to understand what you'll do to make one yourself? I don't follow what you described.

The easiest thing to do, on a first gen, is to remove the large raised section all together, and put in a vinyl or leather bag style boot, since the shift indicator is on the dash anyway.

Since there is very little difference between the two shifters mechanically, why not just leave your shifter the way it is, and add electrical switches somewhere for shifting? Like, two micro switches on the stalk of the shifter you can hit with your thumb and index fingers or something?

Oh, sure. That's cool. I never pursued that idea, but I think I know who did that. I'd like to see how it turns out. I'll also keep my eyes open for parts for you.

I'd be interested in seeing if you can get your hands on some europe spec LH parts. I'd wonder what the Chrysler Intrepid has for parts that may be different than the Dodge Intrepid of the US. I don't know that there is - the only thing I KNOW for sure is different is that the Eagle head lights are different in Europe. I'd be interested in a set of those if you ever find any.

You may want to look ebay.de and type "CHRYSLER VISION". I'd say 80% of all euro Chrysler were sold in Germany and everything is cheaper. Our salvage yards compare prices with OEM parts and everything is very very expensive. I had to pay 200$ for a used 3.5 airbox
last year because the dealer price was 400$. I think the damn thing isn't worth a dime.

Sure. My box is broken and I want to get the cone filter out and use KN filter with stock box and aftermarket intake tube.
