It indicates a PHP car, a high performance suspension vehicle. Fairly rare in 1st gen car. Also, the computer has no speed limiter.

The car also came with high speed rated tires. The struts were a different suspension rate than others.

Not sure if mine is PHP yet. Do I need to lift it to check. I just tried and I cant get under enough. Just looked at my Infinity system too. I have one plus where the wires look a little loose but on my sound system it has a Dec.9 1992. My sound system is going to be 20 in December. What plugs should I be looking for and do I need to take it out of it's seat in the trunk?

The PHP hole is visible from the rear bumper with a flashlight - look forward to where the rear wheels are, and to the cross member in the middle of the car that supports the wheels.
You shouldn't have to remove anything in the back of the trunk to check the plugs, I don''t think. I'm not sure that they will show you any problem though, to be honest. Just something to check.
Have you tried running your controls rapidly around to clean the contacts?
