What car can I use to swap the console in my trep? I'm tired of the cup holders, and the console lid is broken. It opens but doesn't lock. I want to replace the entire center console. I don't mind work to get it to fit/mount. But, I want to switch with something that has better cup holders. Thanks for any help!

I was thinking, maybe using a 2nd gen trep or sister car. But, just using the cup holders and figuring out how to implement it into the original console. Any ideas?

Best bet hands down is to just put a new center console lid on your existing console, and replacing the cup holders.

Second to that is a second gen console, trimmed to fit.

Third is to look at a Seabring or Stratus and then moving where the parking break is... then trimming the console to fit.

So, no... repair what you have.
