I have a set, that I am going to install, but want to polish them up first. I used some chrome polish, but noticed that they have some scratch marks. What is recommended in using to remove these scratches without causing damage to the chrome?

I just used Chrome polish on mine. When I went searching through the yard for chrome handles I saw a lot that were peeling or just cracked apart. The chrome layer is not very thick at all. I don't think there's much you can do about the scratches beyond the chrome polish.

I may look into rechroming them, if nothing else.
