any tips and tricks would be appreciated not an expert wrench but know enough to get me by

One tip I can offer without knowing a thing about the car is you need to check out the front suspension, there are a few areas that wear and need attention. Every component should be checked but first off I'd check inner tie rod bushings and cradle bushings.

all the rubber is weathered in the front end i get a mad pull to the right and on some turns it will feel like the wheel is bent my steering wheel is pulled to the right when the wheels are straight also something pops when i go over speed bumps and when i accelerate from a quick stop
and also my driver side tie rod bar can be wiggled is that normal

No its not normal to wiggle a tie rod It needs to be replaced ASAP and I would not drive it until you do this could be your pull and is extremely dangerous to drive> you will also were out your tires fast it will need to be realigned after! I would take it to a shop and have it inspected first!
