It appears I need to replace the rear subframe bushings again as I see sag on top. Also, hood wont stay up especially when it cold outside so I need to replace the hood struts(lift supports) again. Anybody know where I can get these at a decent price? Im thinking this car is nearing the end of its life but I keep fixin her and she still fun to drive! Advance wants $69 each for bushings and support lifts are around $20 each. Heck the cars not work more than $1500-$2K at most! Just switched to synthetic oil over the weekend. I dont know if its my imagination or not but she appears to run better. I recently told my son that if the common man in this down economy does not know how to turn wrenches he is so screwed. This forum has saved me lot of money as I have been burned by the stealership when I was younger.

Check eBay I run synthetic in all mine as far as making them run better I've never noticed But it can help with lowering the engine temp. as it lowers the resistance in the engine thus lowering the heat!

Buy the poly sub frame bushings from http://www.polybushings.com/ , they will last 10 times longer. Buy the hood struts from the local auto parts, get the ones with the best warranty and when they fail in a year get a new set. The alternative is to make a stationary rod that never needs to be replaced.
