I own a Mac G5 and a couple of G4's. They work great. The white Mac keyboards are pretty heavy duty and so are the Black ones for that matter. Never had an issue with a Mac OEM keyboard. The new metal ones I have no experience with.

I never liked Mac's. Could have something to do with the ex-father in-law, (Mac).
But, in reality, I just never caught the Mac habit. I agree they crash just as frequently as a PC but, they always look so cutesy. I was never one for the cutesy stuff. Otherwise, I'd also be driving a hybrid.

Old Slot 1 CPU!! I used my old PIII Slot 1 501mhz for many years. Steady workhorse. Slow as can be for stable.
I had a pretty big tower as well.
When my $2 Tv was not in the living room, this is what my setup looked like. I enjoyed it ALOT.
Computer Setup then. I think 2.8 ghz, 3 gb ram Nivida 8500GT. Total Spent mebbie 100 bucks. Thinking of finding cheap P/s to throw back in this and have it run 24/7 as a server of sorts for FSX and storage.
Computer setup now. Got the Core 2 Dou E3600 @ 1.86 4gb ram (32bit XP sees only 3) Nivida 8800GT for free from friend, and soon a new 1TB Caviar blue. Total Spent. $80 bucks. Both Monitors I fixed (replaced bad Caps in power supplies)
As you can see I am not much in the way of wire management, however I do make sure my Temps stay reasonably low. Current PC is going to be redone a bit however once my new HD comes in. I am also cheap cheap cheap. I have had many computers over the past 10 years, and I can honestly say I perhaps spent less than 400 bucks total. I just get great deals and freebies.
For as much as a computer/tech person I like to be. I honestly stay out of mainstream stuff. I just don't read or keep up to date on things. This current setup is the best I have had to date and can play the original cyrsis on high avg 25-30fps. Seeing I do not play heavy games like that often it's not a big deal.

Newer technology is cool like that.
A 20mb hard drive, "Older than me", had to hauled around by train and loaded by a sturdy fork lift truck!

just think how big they were with transistors or really go back to when they had tubes and filled up a house and you have more computing power in a 20 yr old scientific calculator then the tube machine.

My Dad had one... And was little more than a calculator with a printer. It filled our 1 stall garage. I'll see of I can get him to write up a story for it.

Re-Loading the Tower Machine "from scratch" (taking it from Windows XP Professional to Windows XP Media Center Edition) as we speak.
