Well, sad to report that it is still doing the jerking. I don't know where to go from here. No codes, new TPS, new plugs, wires are good.

I called a mechanic I used to use a lot in Utah and he said he worked on a Caddy one time that was doing this and said maybe the distributor might have something to do with it.

thoughts?

These cars don't have a distributor. They have coil packs and are fired electronically from the ECU. It could be a bad coil on the pack. There are methods to test.

I have a voltmeter but never really used one before. Is it easy to test these?

I'm thinking I'm just taking it in. I'm tired of throwing time and money away on things that don't fix it.
