Digital temp controls
Hey guys, Jackfish here. My 04 SXT only has the knobs for heat and A/C, Just wondering hw hard it is to switch to the digital heater head. Do i have to swap the dash wiring like i would to run auto temp? Or is it a plug and play thing?

Hey there. Well, in a perfect world it would be plug and play, but sadly it isnt. The lower dash harness needs swapped out for the higher pin ATC connector and the blower control resistor needs swapped out as well. All this entails taking the dash out. If you still want to do this, find a harness with a SKIM connector, that way later on you can add SKIM for extra protection or add a Special PCM for increased fun.

He's got a Canadian car, it most likely has SKIM already.
But like Will said, you need to swap the upper and lower dash harness's over to ones from a car that had ATC. I can hook you up if you want.

both the dash harness and the lower harness have to be swapped. Get one from the same year for a pain free swap.

Aside from the wiring, aren't the mode and blend door actuators different too? Not sure about the recirc door actuator either.

Hey Jackfish... look in the "How to" section, I've posted how to go from MTC to ATC without having to swap the whole dash harness (just the lower)... only took me a couple of hours...
