Alrighty so I am still having my misfire problem on my Intrepid which is saying that it is misfiring on cylinders 1, 3, and 5. My boss and I went ahead and did a smoke test and we came up with no leaks(except for on some small ones on random vacuum lines which I sealed up). He pretty much gave up and told me to take it to a sister shop for diagnosis which would more than likely run $125. Honestly, I would love to save the money so and advice you guys have would be great.
Also all this time I thought I was burning oil and today I went ahead and checked my oil level after a drive (which has not been touched since it was changed 1500 miles ago) and found that it was sitting right at the full line and not only that but it was really clean too like fresh oil would be (which is weird considering how when I last changed it after 2000 miles it came out black).
So thats where I'm at right now.

Got new stickers thrown on today.....only issue is that my camera is acting wonky so I cant get any pics right now. I also found out that I cant install my new front plate until I find my angled screwdriver because of my push bumper. So yeah fun stuff, and on top of that I still got that misfire and I think my thermostat crapped out because I only have heat when my foot is on the pedal and it doesnt warm up if I leave it sit in the driveway. Not only that but my cd player works whenever it wants so I am looking into a new headunit with atleast two RCA hook ups (one for my subs and the other for the amp for my front speakers. But atleast I got my LED's the other day which will more than likely be hooked up at the same time as the new headunit and speakers.
So yes super cool and fun stuff......Any suggestions on headunits with multiple RCA hookups and any of my other issues?

On the hunt for 17"s just because I have a set of tires at the shop waiting for them and since I'm cheap I took to craigslist. Was hoping for Mustang rims or maybe a set of 18"s with good tires but this is what I have found so far....
I dont care for the gold color but the style is close to what I like and they apparently have new tires... and for the price of $400 not too shabby.
Then there are these......
They came off a 1990 Taurus Sho (not 100% sure if they will fit) but they look nice and are $250 obo
Then there is a set of 18"s I really like but they dont have tires for $390....
Maybe even these....

Still looking at wheels. However today I decided to pretty much condemn this motor.....why you may ask? Well today I was looking around at the junkyard for a new interior piece that I could customize for the touch screen headunit my friend gave me, when I see this intrepid looking at me with a big insurance sticker on the windshield. The sticker says 94k and after a quick walk around I see why it was there, the rear of it was in the trunk. I also see that it is an SXT with the 3.5 HO that had just had the timing belt done at 92k and after looking at the inside and outside I realize this car was well taken care of. Inside was near mint and the exterior had just recently been detailed and was mint prior to the accident. Only thing I found with the motor was that it had a valve cover leak but I'm not too concerned about that lol

Snag it. If you can fit it into your pocket, do so!
Junk yard finds as far as motors go do NOT get any better. If they do, it's when they are FREE.

Ha for sure.....this is the best one I have seen come into this yard in the two and a half years I have been going. So today I'm trying to get some friends together to pick this thing up and then I'll try to find someplace at my house, store it at my friends house, or just take it to my work (because I work at a shop) and then tear some parts off and do all the gaskets on it so I can run synthetic through it. Plus since this junkyard is pretty awesome last I checked motors were only $250 and had a $100 core so even if it comes out to be like $400 I will be completely satisfied with it.
So after I pick it up and get the motor all fixed up then I will just let it sit until this one blows up. Which if I'm lucky and it lasts until summer time when we have our Ice cream cruise (which is a huge car show put on by 1320 Video, and last year they were able to get the drag strip open to the public) then I might have to look into a Zex Nitrous kit to speed up the process.....I'm thinking a 100 shot.

A local drag-strip here let's people bring there cars all the time. $30 for time trial runs and $60 to compete.
If I can get some goodies on my car like the exhaust, air intake and special PCM, I may give it a swing just for the fun of it. Already have the 2.7 final drive gears going and frankly, huge difference there alone! :P
Heard about boys using NOS on the 2.7 at the strip, getting really good times too. Smoking. The. Ricers. Haha! I'd be the ass-hat that pulls up after smoking those punk civic kids and say "well, I'm off to get some groceries".... Lmao....

Ha I just hope it lasts that long because it would be fun and rather hillarious! Plus when the group put on the car show the drag strip was only $10 to get in. Plus I had a friend tell me today the the R.O. at his school is selling a nitrous kit with a full bottle for $275 and that includes installation! I really hope its a 100 shot....I would also want to find a way to get it to purge out the wheel wells so that I can spray the competition lol

Phuck ya!
Keep it brief and you should be OK. NOS is horrible for a motor but it's good for this "oh sh!t" moments.
Not a bad price at all. I've seen kit's for $150 online, no bottle.
Make sure to take some pictures of the event! Always fun to see. I was at out last year (drag strip). Was a small compact event. So all the kids brought their Civic's and other rice burners. Was pleased to see a lot of Mopar's, mostly SRT4 Neon's and regular Neon's. Few high profile dragsters, cool cars like Supra's, RX7's done up nicely; hell even a SRT10 viper (omg so pretty). Took lots of pics and video's. My buddy destroyed a $80K Shelby Mustang (those new ones) that was done up more than Shebly had it. Little ten year old, $6k Neon ate up the ricers and muscle. Haha! My car stayed parked for "show and shine". This year maybe like I said. :P

Well day 3 of pulling the motor in the freezing cold and as soon as I get to the other end of the yard to finish pulling the bolts out of the torque converter with my brand new wrenches and the motor mounts, I find the car is gone..... I search and search and realize they had already scrapped it and I lost a great motor. So the search continues.
However on another note I was able to pull a supercharger while I was there.

They scrapped the car you were working on, and had a good working motor/tranny... WTF... ?
Idiots... I know my buddies yard has crushed a few Trep's recently, worried he'll get to my interceptor before I can get the sway bars and engine... lol

Yeah I was absolutely pissed.....however trolling through craigslist I found another about 3 hours away from me with 97k with the timing belt and water pump just done for $600 so I'm going to try and jump on it....hopefully the motor is pulled and ready to go!

Pulled out my old system that I spent $150 on and put in a brand new system worth around $1200. Let me just say the difference in sound is incredible! Also the amp I purchased had just come out and the guy said Im the first one in town to have it! I'll work on getting some pictures once I get the behemoth moved to the trunk. The guy told me he would make a new box that would actually fit in my trunk free of charge so maybe that will be done before the weekend.
