Thank you for responding. That makes sense. Yes, the motor is the 2.7. The passages were clean where they attached to the egr, little to no sludge. I did not remove the opposite side of the tube where it attaches to the top of the exhaust manifold. The miles are a low 80k for a '99, So the internals are pretty clean and well maintained. Also, as i was removing the EGR connection, the plug did crack, but I did check the connection and it was tight. I also zip-tied it to secure it. Wasn't sure if the connection could be a factor, although you mentioned that it's now getting an 0402 is perhaps because its now receiving a signal. I could check inspect the opposite passage if you think their could be blockage? If that's clear, then what? I appreciate your feedback.
