Hotel Thread
Lindsey has put a great deal of time into finding a hotel for the club this year. This is the best deal we are going to find at a hotel that wants to set aside a block of rooms for us.
We had to change hotels from last year. There is a big anniversary in Gettysburg and hotels are not willing to give out group rates this year.
Other hotels may be a little cheaper but they are not willing to block a section of rooms off for us and this could lead to members not having a place to stay once the hotel fills up.
The price is the price and I will look at ways to cut costs for others during the weekend. This includes a discussion about the location of the dinner we have on Saturday night.
We will do what we can to keep other costs down, I will be making a room sharing thread as well on the 300M club site as well.
Please feel free to book at a cheaper hotel if the price is too much, I would love for everyone to stay together but I understand times are tough and the price is higher then last year. We did everything possible to get a rate that was doable and still met the needs of the club.
