While I was at Autozone yesterday, picking some stuff up to give my car a tune up, I say this intake tube that a member of the site talked about. I bought it hoping it would work. I got home and removed my old home made intake and put in the new one. Well it took me some time, about 15 minutes because I kept running into some problems with the angle of the tube and location of the coolant resevoir tank. But I got it in. Here are some pics, let me know what yall think.

See that rubber hose on the coolant tank? Cover it with loom. The intake can rub against it.

wire loom, the cheap plastic stuff to help protect wires

you can find it at any auto parts store

I have that intake and filter. You can cover the filter with a foldgers coffee can. It fits over the filter just snug enough to hold in place. Works rather well I'd say.
You just open both ends of the coffee can and just slide it on.

Does it come in a complete kit or can you buy the parts seperately?

It comes with the tube, pipe clamp, and a 3" to 2.5" fitting.
