My 2001 3.2L Intrepid came with P255/60R16 tires on all 4 alloy wheels.
However, now having poked a big hole in one of them, I find that I can't obtain such tires anymore, even on special order.
At this point I just want to replace the one tire as the one on the other side is in pretty good shape. Any suggestions as to suitable replacement? Whether singly or in a pair. Thanks...
I am very happy with the BF Goodrich G Force sport Comp 2, 17”, Intrepid R/T. They run quiet, grip good, decent pricing. Aggressive look as well. Previously I had a set of Falken, they were good too, but really extra miserable in any amount of snow or ice. Original Michelins were destroyed quickly by the R/T suspension , just my opinion.
I just replaced my Federal tires with Hankook Ventus V12 Evo's, and what a difference! I noticed an improvement in turning and handling. These hankook tires are quieter also. Hoping to get better treadlife out of them.
What other things should I look forward to Hankook tires? I'm planning to get replacement tires and I found selections of that tires at 4WheelOnline. Aside from being quieter, are they efficient to use on both dry and wet road conditions?
