didn't know that ac delco made tools like that. personally, I think its kind of bulky. I would stick to a click type torque wrench. a 0-100ft-lb 3/8" drive will cost anywhere from $40-150 depending on what brand you get. there are some electronic torque wrenches that aren't any bigger or bulkier than a regular torque wrench, but your gonna end up paying somewhere in the neighborhood of $250 for them.
It's a cool idea, I'm just not sure the applications for it are there.
This is one case where adding a digital step just isn't beneficial.
Now if someone could invent a digital self calibrating device that would be pretty brilliant.
