Wassup Guys, Its GreggieP from Dodgeintrepid.net and today I bring you Some updated pictures and info of my current project.

As you all know my 2.7l and I had a falling out and some piece of my rotating assembly decided that it no longer wanted to be apart of the engine so it said 'That's it I am OUTTA HERE' meanwhile the rest of the engine said 'meh' and kept on working, but unfortunately it consumes more oil than Mcdonalds Deep Fryer now so it had to be parked.

Anyways, I purchased a 2000 Chrysler 300M from SGI Auction for $458 and I have NOW finally started to strip it down for various parts including the mecca 3.5l High Output engine.

Now along the way I had debated about fixing the 300M and as of late I was glad I chose not too.

Anyways, on to some pictures!!

I have 300M Gauges installed now

And I had a Leather Auto Stick bezel for Install

As well as OTIS (Someone let me know if I am wrong with this), complete with HomeLink and Auto-Dimming Mirror and Lit Vanity Mirrors

And Chrome Switches!!

Now the 300M had put up a decent fight for sure, But in the end I have had my way and gotten quite a bit disassembled from it

Roughly where it began

Come on...

Little more...

Haha!! I am winning!!!

This is where I am at from working on it on my days off and when the weather cooperates.

And this is what the lower rad support looks like by the way...

I would say it is a little bit out.

Anyway, that where I am at folks, give me your feedback and let me know what you think!! :D

Well...

Replaced my sub with my spare I had sitting in storage, that helped add a little definition to my sound.

I think my big issue is a bunch of little things are starting to piss me off. I have exhaust leaks through out my whole system, cracked manifold, my muffler in the back wasn't attached properly so I hitr bumps and it knocks against the spare tire well, wind shield is all cracked up, I still want to get my 18's mounted AND my car is currently 4 different colors...

If I could get 1 or 2 of these issues resolved it would make a difference and I really need to take my car on a nice long journey down south

Set up my ghetto intake, it works, this winter I am having a friend fibreglass it properly so it doesn't look as horrid. Definitely makes the noise under hood louder and the engine has more of a growl to it now.

15th of this month I am getting my 18's honed out to fit over my hubs, getting the tires installed that afternoon, and Friday I get an alignment. Have my factory alloys sold to a friend and hopefully I am going to be able to make it to Saskatoon for a carshow on the 17th.

Pics to follow. Also now using flickr, this is a test.

So machine shop got busy and were unable to bore out my hub center. Which is okay, I took my car for an alignment and discovered my Upper strut bearings that I put on new when I had the springs done are destroyed. Not even a year and maybe a hair over 15,000km's on them. After doing some pulling apart last night at work, turns out the technician put the upper strut mounts on the wrong side.

So my car is not temporarily out of commission till parts show up. Really hoping there is no damage to the springs...

For those watching at home, I did get the 18's mounted. Will post pics when not at work. Tonight I tackle the strut bearings and possibly the engine and trans spacers as well. Then I am just down the cosmetic little parts to do!

Sign up for a free Microsoft Skydrive account. I think you get something like 12gb of storage free. And you can store other files besides pictures. Just need a Microsoft mail or live account which are also free.

I've been using Skydrive to host all my pictures for the last couple of years and all the pictures I link to or post here are from Skydrive.

Plus the Skydrive app for Win 7/8 helps you keep track of everything and sync and access all your pictures across multiple devices/PCs.

Dropbox is OK but it's a PITA to link to. I have a Dropbox account but I find Skydrive superior in every way. Not to mention Dropbox is a real low storage limit to begin with and they want you to invite people to sign up to get more storage space. Think Dropbox is like 2gb and Skydrive is 12gb.

Received my brake ducts yesterday, looks like this winter will have quite a bit of modding going on, a few unorthodox ideas possibly, but mostly looking to get her cosmetically cleaned up this year, aside from exhaust work

I have been looking at aggressive rims that will come in time, the down side is they will stick out 2 inches past the fender, so looking at making wider front fenders and modifying the front bumper to look factory but sit a bit lower, kinda like an air dam, and go a tad bit wider to look like it goes along with body lines on the widened fenders.

I can see it in my head, but I lack any kind of drawing skills to be able to portray it on paper lol

Basically picking up two front bumper covers, an ES and SE and make it look like it sits lower

Been debating on getting some plastidip to make her at least one solid colour for the time being while I wait on a few more other components. Don't want to paint her to have to do body work later, so maybe some basic grey plastidip and rock that 'in primer' look next year...
