My folks have a 2004 300M. The 300 has less than 70,000 miles on it and is serviced regularly and garage kept. My question is: Why would the cam sensor on this motor keep going bad? It has ate 3 of them and now has its 4th one installed. Any thoughts, comments or experience appreciated!
Thanks
Todd
It's not your car eating them, it's the sensors. I'm going to guess that you are buying new sensors? If so, try going to the autowreckers and getting a sensor from a 99-01. I had the same issue with both my 04s and my gfs 02. The new sensors are made in China and seem to be crap, whereas the older ones were made in Mexico and worked much better.
Yeah My sensors don't last long either. Those sensors are junk
