Coolent leak found, 2.7l finally Water pump upper relief hole
Well after banging my head and standing upside down. Lots of phone calls with Dodge Specialists. Finally found that the water has shit its' pants. Beside the upper metal coolent line. There is a small (about 1/4" ) relief hole that vents for the water pump. At fist it look like the coolent was coming from between the tranny and the motor. but not so. After pressure test ( three ) and with three other friends two listen and one crawling around and climbing over the motor looking for dyed liquid.
Tear down the intake to find it might be the hard line took it off tested it. No holes. Then phone rings and its yet another specialist saying look for this tiny little God Damn vent hole on the upper part of the motor in between the heads on front of the motor. But on/in the valley Looking down on the motor on the left in the valley.
Well more coolent goes in, start pumping up the pressure all eyes on deck looking in the valley..... Felt like a god damn oil driller hitting the mother load ther it was a stream of liquid shooting out through the valley hitting the top of the bell housing and spraying everywhere.
No I sit waiting for valve cover gaskets, new plugs, couple coils ( weak ), water pump, thermostat, and alot of patience.
