Just a little correction ... you listed Kb, Mb, Gb, Tb for kilobyte, megabyte, gigabyte, terabyte. Those B's should be capitalized.

Lowercase 'b' = bit (binary digit) = a 0 or 1; usually used for network speed (100 Mbps, 1 Gbps, etc.) <-- Mbps = megabits per second
Uppercase 'B' = byte = 8 bits; usually used for storage capacity (512 MB, 4 GB, 2 TB, etc.)
