Sunroof Question
I'm just sittin here thinkin....what happens if the motor gives out on the sunroof! Not so bad if its closed, but what if it's open. Anyone got any ideas/clues, I looked through the owners manual and watched the video tape, but no answers there.

Nothin' you can do!!! S**T out of luck!!
Hopefully it cuts out when closed. Dealer will not tow it in if required since it is not a powertrain problem.
Use it carefully and don't screw around with it too much, or at all.

If that were to happen I would quickly get it to a dealer and say "Hey, ummmm, emergency..."
But I never thought about that....

I could be wrong but in every power sunroof car ive dealt with there is a way to close them manualy, somtimes removing a few pieces of trim and a socket wrench are required, but there has always been a way to do it..

As Wildcat said, that most older sunroof models had a trim piece to remove wnd then use a socket or other type tool to close the hole. But if ottowrkr says that it dosen't so be it.....Sounds a bit short sighted on DC's part though!

Sorry guys, there is no manual close provision on the sunroof. Hope if it does fail, it fails closed!
