[help] atc getting expensive
hello i am new here first post lol but anyways my wifes intrepid gained a problem with the atc first problem was the display didnt light up i figured out if i flicked it sometimes it would come back on for a little while then that didnt work anymore so i then took the dash apart around the radio and figured out if i moved the wires around it would work then i just could get it to stay lit so i brought it in thinking the connections needed a good circuit board patching with heat lol but when i checked it it looked fine all the connections looked great so i didnt mess with it and put it back together well then i noticed that there was no heat now after doing this so i thought i must have screwed it up and i couldnt see if i was ajusting the temp and got a little fed up so i ordered a used one from a concord it does the same thing as the old one (lighting up prob) but not as bad not sure if its known to do this or not but anyways after install still no heat and i could at least see i was ajusting it now so i ordered a brand new blend door acuator went to put it in tonight and got everything apart and got the old one out plugged the new one in to ajust the key so i can reinstall it doesnt do anything so i started searching your forum here and found how to reset everything and make it work well from watching the new thing work it only works when i start the car after i have reinstalled that fuse after this it does nothing i am going to be working on it tonight not really sure where to go from here looking for help if anyone has experiance with this thanks in advance

Welcome aboard!
You might try proof reading that and reposting with punctuation, and some line spaces to break up the train of thought a bit.
I'll be honest and tell you I skipped reading all of that because of how it wasn't written.

The part the good Doctor was talking about is the display and knob part - the thing in the dash you use to adjust what you want the heat/AC to do.

Ok my bad I blended my 2 cars this one is a 99 intrepid atc with the 3.2 and bucket seats
This I've replaced
Head (thing with display and knob and buttons) (used from concord)
Blend door actuator (new)
I've reset the system pulling the no. 19 fuse
Still nothing I see the the actuator moving when I start the car after reinstalling fuse
But won't move when adjusting temp manually or when in auto
Any ideas
Sorry for confusion and long post this is the bottom line post

Codes 23 and 32 I ran this test before I changed the actuator I forgot I did that
Also for a side note the car is still apart and the new actuator is not installed yet it's plugged in but needs lined up to install but can't line it up not sure if it needs to be installed for it to work

Are you sure it's the Blend Door actuator you replaced? Or have sitting not connected?
