How to tell a premium BCM
Is the BCM in my 2000 ES is a premium? I'm wondering if I hook up an EVIC will I have access to the "easy seat" programing function and be able to turn it on and off, as the OTIS doesn't have such a function and it would really come in handy with my 300m heated memory seats that move everytime the key is taken out of the ignition. I don't want to buy an EVIC only to find out that the easy seat funtion doesn't work since my car isn't a 2001+. Just need to know before I try and get my hands on one of these which would be without TPMS:
2001 56042749AB EVIC Instant MPG +Homelink
2001 56042749AC EVIC Instant MPG +Homelink
2001 56042749AD EVIC Instant MPG +Homelink
2002 56042749AE EVIC Instant MPG +homelink
2002 56042749AF EVIC Instant MPG +homelink
2002 56042749AG EVIC Instant MPG +homelink

Also I did finally check my EVIC. I can't program any of the seat/memory functions from the EVIC in my car.

do you have the memory module wired in? Both the passenger & driver seat need to be wired together then to the BCM. My vin says I have a JLJ model BCM (Base) and I have the functions on my Evic.

That picture is a 1st gen BCM, not a second gen. I edited my post, that was misleading. Thanks for pointing that out.

Yep, all wired in. I swapped in a whole 300M body harness so I didn't have to hack and slash wire at all.
I can program some things, but normally we can't do some of the stuff.

Only functions I get on my evic is -easy out seat, attach memory to remote (useless for me cause I use remotes from an aftermarket remote start.) and tilt mirrors down when in reverse. I believe that's it.
what ones do you get captain?

I've got ones for retraining tire sensors and retraining remotes that work. There are a bunch of others in there. I'll sit down in the driveway with the computer and run through them all and which ones work.

I can't change any of the seat functions like easy out from my EVIC, and I've honestly never bothered with programming the memory settings. Nobody else drives my car.
The key with a lot of those is the year. 98-00 are from the earlier wiring, 01 is it's own animal, and 02-04 is the latest version.
