Good stuff! Thanks for sharing! Nothing like having a nice shop, huh? I feel bad for the guys working in their driveways and in the street on their rides...

True I don't know what I would do if i had to work outside...At least the garage is big enough all the toys (because I live mostly out there) and fireplace...I really feel for those guys/girls outside. Mind you a lot of times work also gets done outside when garage is tied up. Driveway is almost 3 car wide and approx 5-6 car deep...so lots of room for visitors on there daily basis to come over and use as well...lol.
Take care,
STBEAR007

I really need to get pics of my setup on here. I've been thinking about getting one of those cameras that you send in to Kodak and they send you back a picture cd. Then, all that I would need is someone to host them and put them on here.

It just shows how dedicated to our rigs/rides we are when we are out in below freezing weather rotating tires, changing oil, doing brakejobs, & waterproofing the engine compartment(on the bronco not the trep).
Wait, is that dedicated or insane... :dozeoff: bah, take your pick
someday i will have a huge heated shop with lots of space, and maybe even a lift.... but @ 19 that's a little much to hope for right now.

Ride looks awesome, your badass garage kind of takes away from the car tho....jk. I like the mesh grill, not a big fan of the screens hanging off the backseat like that but hey, I have no screens at all...yet. Nice pix

How did you install them mesh grills. I got some to install, took a look at the grill and decided it was too much of a chore to do so I have them to my brother who in turn put them on his Probe GT, which looks awesome on his black car. Was it a difficult process?

Ditto.
I couldn't have said it better myself. Well, except for the Bronco and the 19 part
I would kill for a garage. :(

Yes the mesh grill is a big job you have to take off the front fascia and work it from behind and carefully/strategically drill your holes for the ties to hold it in place after you pretty much push the mesh forward to fit/fill the slots properly with 2 seperate pieces each side and also removing the foam support so you can get in there as well. Big job!...can't really notice it untill like 10 or more feet away but when you do I think it looks sharp...would be better on a darker color (I sprayed a flat black on the steel beam and where ever else I could that would somewhat show behind these slots to help darken from behind and help bring out the mess...also coated a few times with clear coat on the mess to maybe help keep it protected longer...I hope) but a what the hell once you get started doing stuff it's hard to quit...
I love the JoeKd intake the best over any of these mods so far...still have to fab some aluminum to cover the ugliness under it now...very soon. Thanks again and Take Care,
STBEAR007

My setup...
Top Floor: Finished office including sectional couch, wall-to-wall carpeting, HVAC, three computers, cable internet access, cable tv, surround stereo, dart board, music studio, sports memorabilia display, high-back leather chair, wrap-around desk
Main Level: Poured cement floor, 14" steel I-beam so there are no posts between the two bays, side loading dock, 4' tall Craftsman tool cabinet, 6' tall Craftsman tool cabinet, lots o' tools, floor jack, jack stands, creeper, air tools, bead blaster, parts washer, 220V electric service
The Main Level is set up so projects that will 'take a while' are done in the right bay. The left bay is for in-and-out stuff like oil changes and tune-ups on our daily drivers.
Lower Level: Camaro / Corvette / Tractor / Tractor Attachment parking, Briggs & Stratton commercial air compressor
The barn from the front (the camper is not mine):
The barn from the back:

Why do you think I was so eager to move out of the fancy-schmancy center-hall colonial I lived in previously!
You can more pics at http://www.c21internet.net/newhouse. keep in mind that they are from May 2001 - while I was in contract to buy the place. I move in in August 2001.
