I've recently noticed a loud clicking noise coming from the front right (passenger side) wheel but having read the other clicking thread, I think I'm experiencing something a little different.
It only occurs after I have turned the wheel to the right and immediately goes away if I turn sharp left afterwards. However, if I continue driving straight after making a right turn, it will continue to click.
If I slow right down I can feel the click through the pedal, though it is barely perceptible.
It happens both in forward and reverse gears.
I think it may be the wheel bearing since it happens once every complete rotation .. to test this, I asked my wife to stand outside the car and make a note of the valve position as soon as I signalled. The first click occurred at 11 'o' clock. I drove forward very slowly and sure enough, the next click also occurred at 11 'o' clock.
After jacking the car up and removing the tire, I couldn't see anything obviously wrong so I replaced the tire and power washed around the general area in case some stone had worked it's way into anything.
Needless to say, it's still making the clicking noise. Has anyone come across this problem and if it is a wheel bearing, any idea of how much it's going to cost?
I hadn't thought of brake pads ... out of curiosity what makes you say that?
The pads and rotors were replaced earlier this year so they should be OK
when your pads wear out you may hear the brake pad wear indicators squeaking or like you mention clicking just before the brake pads reach the end of their service life, especially when you turn your wheels.

Sometimes if the repair shop don't get the rotor seated flush against the hub it will cause the rotor to wobble and hit the brake pads even when the brakes aren't applied. This will make a clicking sound everytime the wheel turns. I had this happen on a Dodge Stratus I used to own. The rotor was making the caliper push out so far it was contacting the rim (slightly).
My issues with the Stratus was way obvious, you couldn't even drive the car (well you could, but it was shaking and making a hell of a racket). I was having new tires put on and I guess when the guy ran the lug nuts up with the air gun the rotor got bound up and didn't set properly against the hub.
Ok, so I finally had enough of the clicking noise and took the Concorde down to my local Speedy Auto to have the passenger side driveshaft replaced ($240 CDN if anyone is interested)
After checking the CV Joint and boots, the tech calls me over and shows me everything and says he is not going to change it because it is absolutely fine. To put my mind at ease, he does a full check on all the boots in front of me and it's fairly clear that there are no cracks or traces of grease to suggest it's leaking.
However (and this was impressive), the tech takes off the plastic hubcap and tells me to drive around the block .. voila ... no more clicking noise! Up until then, it was always, always making a clicking noise. I have been driving around for most of the day and the clicking noise has not come back at all
The bizarre thing is, we both checked out the hubcap and couldn't see how/why it was responsible .. there was signs of kerb damage but it wasn't deformed .. as far as we can see anyway
When I had the OEM steelies/caps on my Trep, I would notice a slight ticking sound while going around corners. Most likely just a bit of wheel flexing as far as I can tell. Same deal....remove the caps, the ticking went away.
I know this is old but,mine was making the clicking noise too. It is a 2000 intrepid with only 38,000 miles and I was thinking no way its a wheel bearing.took hubcaps off,noise gone. Need to figure out how to put back on and get rid of clicking noise. For now I will drive with the black rim and chrome lug nuts- almost like a 69 roadrunner 6 pack car with the black rimes and chrome lugnuts........LOL.....
