Well, at least you found us - but we'd much rather be found cause you're so excited to find us because you've fallen in love with your car and wanted to find other like-minded owners... cause all Intrepid owners become that way...

Luckily it's not as bad as it sounds, I knew the car was for sale and hadn't actually bought it yet I was just curious to see if they had any problems at 100k. I'm sure I'll love it when it's fixed.

Almost 87K miles. My daughter really wants to ditch her 97 Breeze with the 2.0 for this Concorde. Can't say that I blame her. The Concorde drives so nice I might think about giving her the 09 Sebring :-)

87K miles is a good number. over 120K you start to see problem - BUT - on that engine, before she goes very far away, you'll want to change the timing belt if you don't have receipts showing it was already done. They need to be done around 100K, or 7 years - I'm guessing yours hasn't been done yet. The engine will survive the belt breaking, but will strand her none-the-less.

I found this site through a Bing search engine. Kept trying different phrases to find info on what I was looking for and every time, 50% of the links on the first page brought me back here. I figured if that’s where all the answers are; go straight to the horse’s mouth! Even a majority other links would inevitably land here.
