97 intrepid sport?

Looking at a 97 sport today with the crank gone looking to junk it .

Are the struts and springs any different than say an es?

Thinking they may be stiffer, better hendeling for my LHS or concord.

Asking $500 with 4 new all season tires on allumimum wheels.

would the engine controls be unlimited where its a sport?

Iv'e driven one that was but it had michilin tires how do you tell on an non running car!

The suspension package is a "sports" package. Only thing I don't know is how good it will be anymore since it is 11 years old. They also came with the autostick setup and power driver seat. I believe they come with the auto climate controls or the OTIS but I don't think both. Been awhile since I looked at one. About all that makes it special.

300 is a good price. What color? You could easily make 300 back from it.

Metal fenders were 96-97, plastics were used on 93-95.

If the car came with Z rated tires *check the drivers door*, then there is no limiter. The ECU will not work on a 93-95 car thou.

This may sound backwards but I used to car pool in a 97 Intrepid Sport. Compared to my 94 LHS. The Trep rode softer and my LHS handled better.

I doubt the Sport means anything in the handling department. Also I think I remember reading somewhere, the LHS's got the stiffer of 3 springs available on the 1st gen LH's.

As for engine controls. No gaurantee on limiter. The 97 I mentioned topped out at 190km/hr.
