Such as breaking a window?

What makes the stock alarm system go off? The only times I have ever had mine go off is if I locked the car with the remote but unlocked the door from the inside and opened it.

Opening the door was the only way I've had mine go off.

It's usually by me leaving the window open but for a slight hint of security I lock the doors. Next move (feeling like such an advanced individual) I reach in the window and open the door from the inside handle. HONK, HONK, HONK.

The alarm will only go off it the door is opened when the system is armed. The LED does blink when you lock the car. once every two seconds.
