Should Avenger Buy Another LH Car

First car is his 02 R/T ( hugely understated by pics only )

Second car is his Honda Civic ( smashed up by unkown assailant, but not a write-off )

Third car will be a 99 LHS, 3.5 HO, fully loaded, 187,000kms for $2300 if you all approve

Definitely. Is there really a question here?

Let's be honest... If you get this LHS, you have 2 cars to mod. That's twice the fun, think about it.

Is the civic totaled or what?? If so, I don't know....You seem to like doing ~500 miles a tank with the civic and you know how much our cars drink ;) Don't ask us, because you know the answer Let your wallet do the talking....

Not to mention if he buys another car he can keep the R/T in great condition for the summer.

Getting 800 - 900km on 55L of fuel in the Civic. Getting 450km on the same amount of fuel in the Intrepid.

12L/100km in the Intrepid
6.5L/100km in the Civic

Maybe I should sell the Civic and get that LHS?

You should do better than that with a stock engine though. I drove Windsor to Waterloo, to Kitchener back to Waterloo, then home on 3/4 tank.

My roommate consistently drives from Buffalo, NY to Montclair, NJ on (what he reports to be) 1 tank of gas. That's the only thing I'm not too fond of regarding my trep. She does enjoy her gas.

Anyone into building an ESX3 with me? 80MpG sounds pretty nice.

Highway driving will obviously be better for your MPG than city driving. I get the same MPG then Avenger....Also you might not have a heavy foot like we do. Don't forget that we don't drive our cars much and when we do, we enjoy it

Yeah, somedays I don't want to go near the car, just because I spend so much time in it...then I usually feel bad at night because I didn't take her out for a ride.

LOL....I felt bad when I had to drive it in the rain or on a daily basis.....Problem has been fixed now and with me getting another R/T ('02 / was dad's car) , it will be a nice daily driver.

I agree you need to vote with your wallet, but if you can afford to drive it, get the LHS. There's a safety factor to consider as well as money, and tho your Civic is an '06 and may have antilock & side airbags (?), size does matter.
