Insurance BS!!!

Well, as some of you may know, my Civic was parked on the road, and was involved in a hit & run accident. I know the driveway the car came out of and backed right into the front 1/4 panel of my car.

ANYWAYS, took it into a shop, and they waited for an adjuster to be sent out. I gave the adjusters the name of the shop, address, and phone number. I haven't heard anything for a week.......so I figured I'd call the shop to ask how my car is? No adjuster had been sent out. I call the insurance company back and bitch at them.

So tonight I go to get something out of the trunk..........it's sitting in the bodyshop parking lot...........it's been hit AGAIN in the rear this time. So now it needs a new rear bumper too.

WTF? I'm so pissed!!! I gotta sell that thing after it gets fixed.

Insurance company says it's gonna count as 2 claims against me.........WTF???

Whoever reported the second claim needs slapped.
Our Caddy got hit and ran and then two hours later got ass endend a while back. Sounds like it's too late for you to get one of the accident reports 'lost' tho

I think I'd be talking to some other insurance companies!

I'd also be having a little jaw waggle with the owner of the body shop.

I never officially "reported" a 2nd claim...........I did call though.

OK, they called me this morning and I explained to them what a bunch of idiots the adjusters are. They're gonna move me to an in house adjuster. Then they asked me about the 2nd incident, and I told them that it may have been part of the 1st incident I had missed? (it is the rear driver's side vs the front driver's side fromt the 1st incident)
