Damn pheasants!

So I'm driving my 1997 classic intrepid, and I come across a pheasant on the highway walking across. I'm just like "Don't fly, don't freakin fly!" He takes off and creams my freakin mirror!

Anyone know how to remove the door panel, the harness for the left mirror and how to even install that stuff?

I didn't think a pheasant could do that much damage. Give it some time someone will chime in.

Not sure about a 1g's but on 2g's there are about 10 screws in the front panel to remove. Put out from the bottom then up, then be sure to remove the door lock rod and connections, Mirror harness will just unplug, Mirror should have 2 nuts and 1 screw, remove those and repeat process in reverse.

Ok, got the mirror, for those who want to know, there is the screw on the door handle, the screw in the hand pocket, one on the upper rear of the panel, bottom center, two in the speaker pocket, two on the front, and I believe one more on the door panel mount under the hand pocket. Three 8mm nuts and the power harness is all that holds you back....re routing that thing is going to be a bitch.

I took the mirror of a 96 Vision, same body/panel style...so its all good in the hood, plus this one folds in!

So its a 94-97 LHS, Intrepid, or Vision mirror that will work. I would have got one from a 95 Trep, but it didn't look as good as the Vision, I figure if I replace the mirror with one that has the same finish, but looks a lil different, what do I care...now I should just get the right side one from the same car ;)
