I'm a newbie (5/2/08) What is this??

I just bought (Saturday)a 2002 Intrepid ES, 89K miles for less than $5k, in great, well very good condition. Under the hood is a sticker that says, Reprogram PCM 4606876AC, dated 7/06 with an auth/dealer code. What is this? AND, with all the instructions on this site, I still can't program additional keyless entry fobs. I have 2 from an 02 Liberty with the same numbers on the back. (with a working fob that came with the car)

All that sticker means is that the PCM was flashed with an update or something. Mine has it too.

It's like a software update. Sometimes the factory makes changes to the programming to fix a common problem or make something work better.

What I remember from my reading here is that you need two working fob to program a third one...
