Creaking/Groaning Noise From Rear Driver's Side
Good day everyone,
Today was the coldest day it's been thus far this season, about 0 degrees F after wind chill. As such, I got in the car this evening and could hear a creaking/groaning noise coming from the rear driver's side going over bumps. It literally sounded like the sound a wooden floorboard would make in a haunted house.
In the days leading up to this, I had noted a slight clunk in the same area going over really deep bumps, but, I thought it could have been the mudflap banging against the muffler.
Only can hear it over bumps. On smooth surfaces, nothing. Any theories here and should I be worried? (is it safe to be driving it?)
