all that means is that the battery was disconnected... why do you need to get to the body computer?

I believe the BCM is in the dash behind the passenger air bag... someone can correct me if I'm wrong... I've never seen it for myself...

The BCM is located behind the knee bolster on the left side of your dash.
It is on the inside of the "block" you can see when removing the access cover to get to the fuses.

Because I keep having this happen.

I have a dodge intrepid 99 3.2 engine light coming on, a/c quits blowing cold air and tach speedometer quit working, and temp gage does work.Sometimes it all starts working again. Then will quit working again back and forth.Any body have any ideas on where I might start lookin?Someone mentioned that I seem to remember there was some grounding problems with the digital dash. I'd check that out, and the connections to the body computer.

yea, looking over the FSM and wiring diagrams, looks like the BCM connectors is the best place to start... the PCM connects to the OBD and the BCM... then the BCM connects to the OTIS/EVIC and cluster...

if you think of the PCI Bus (car computer network) like a office computer network, then the BCM is the network server... everything goes there...
