I have a 2000 dodge intrepid. The battery died and now my radio wont work. All that happens is the equalizer switches blink. Doesnt show a clock or anything onit. I checked fuses and nothing is wrong with them
Are you sure you checked all the fuses? #4 and #19 are for the Radio and #18 for the amplifier if you have one. These are all in the Junction Block under the plastic cap at the Driver's end of the dash. You need to check them with a multimeter or similar. A visual check can be misleading.
As Firemnted suggested try disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes and see what happens. If fuses are good(see above) then most like the radio itself took a dump. A replacement stock radio is dirt cheap on Ebay or here.
What's the 3 letter Radio code that should be printed on the face somewhere. RAZ, RBQ, etc?
What's the Features of your Radio? AM/FM/Cassette? CD Changer Controls? How many sliders are on the Equalizer?
