Sad 300m engine removal

This is probably a dead horse on this forum, but here it goes anyway. I have a 2004 chrysler 300m 3.5 with a blown engine and am going to change engine. I bought a Haynes manual but it does not show how to drop the cradle with engine and trans connected. I was told this was the easiest way to swap the engine.
Fuel lines
elec connectors
cowl cover
radiator hoses
heater core hoses
throttle cable
shifter linkage
strut bolts- top

Do I remove power steering lines at rack or remove pump and swing out of way?
Do I remove ac compressor or disconnect from engine and swing out of the way
Do I remove rack with engine or detach tie rod ends and leave rack and pinion in car?

I know these questions sound dumb to a lot of people, but this is my first front wheel drive - cradle removal.
Any thread links?
I can not find anything on net to narrow me in...
Thanks
Scott

most i remove the pump and set out of the way if there's room.

same as PS pump, if it can be left. then you won't have to recover/recharge the system.

most fwd i undo the lower ball joint and leave the strut and brake lines done up.
the rack isn't mounted to the cradle.

Garage
Step one is to soak the Hayne's manual in gasoline and light it on fire.

Here is your link for the factory service manuals. https://www.dodgeintrepid.net/forumdisplay.php?f=113

Seriously, get rid of that Hayne's manual. Don't go out and buy Chilton's either.

Once everything is disconnected, how are you going to "lift" the body?
I'm asking because you have to have a way to get the body off the ground
in order to "drop" the cradle.
(I use to have access to a forklift. That made the job really easy)

once I disconnect everything I planned on lifting the front of the car with the cradle still on the ground. I have a terramite backhoe that I made a set of forks for and use that to lift front of car off cradle. the rear end will have spacers about 12 inches to the tires off the ground. Where do I buy the manual referred to on this forum? I tried to find it on eBay but was not listed.

Send a PM to "DayTrepper". He authored the swap manual.

Take a look at a couple of these swaps. Cradle removal using my neighbors forklift.
