here is a theory question for you's guys. So theres a 2.7L version of the charger as well as a 3.5L version...say I pulled up next to them matching their engine size in my trep or 300m, should i race them with win in my mind or prepare to be anhiliated?
When I had my 4.6L Thunderbird. My LHS and the Tbird were a fender to fender race on the street. 15.8 vs 15.5 at the track but on the street my Tbird would spin a bit making them pretty much equal, even past their trap speed of 88mph.
Anyways back to the thread here. I ran a 3.5L 300 rear wheel drive in my Tbird.
I pulled out a fender on the green light and he hung at my side door all the way to about 80mph. So the fender was most likely reaction time. So for arguements sake it was a dead heat.
From what I see you would need timing lights from the track to see the clear winner.
