Hick dealership and 300M's

There is a little hick dealership a few miles down the road from me. He always seems to have a 300M on the lot, I guess he knows they sell fairly well in this area and might be one of the reasons he manages to stay open. He knows what the customers want. He also has a couple other nice cars from the Chrysler-Dodge line there too!
His latest that I pulled in to scope out is a 1999 Silver 300M, the body and paint looks really nice. I didn't look under the hood, but it has auto stick and the 3.5, at least I think the window sticker said 3.5. Tires look almost new too!
Price is $1000
I thought that is quite a deal if the car runs. I remember paying close to that years ago for a winter beater. This car looks nice.

$1000 retail, sounds good if the miles are under 200,000!

You don't get much for $1000 today!

He has had a couple black ones there, they don't stay on the lot very long.

and you didn't buy it? Leather seats and interior trim alone would get your $1000 back, let alone body panels, and a 3.5 ( HO I believe )

I need to run to the store, maybe I will drive by and get a couple pictures of it. I could buy it, but I need to get my money back in a hurry for a vacation in January.

I got my 1999 base intrepid with a 2.7 for about $3200 Then the engine blew...so there goes any of my advice. Wish I could get my hands on a 300m.

Reality check The sign in the window actually says $1000, small print below it says "off" in small letters...bringing the price to $5995. The car has 122k on it. I did get some pics of it, it is a nice looking car.

I really don't need to buy a 300M. I already have the 300M Special, I just have mine dressed in the better looking Intrepid body!!
