Instrument cluster out!

I just switched ins company's any got them safe driver devises and I put it in the charger and intrepid within 5 min of getting home from work (I drove the intrepid). After I plugged it in to the OBD2 I started the car and took it for a drive and I noticed I had no lights speedo tack or fuel gage working the only thing working is the oil light with the key on and engine off! All fuses are good I checked them with a test light and a meter! Does anyone have any ideas?

Guess it doesn't pay to try and be a safe driver. I never trusted any of the Insurance companies that wanted to put a tracking device on the OBD port. heard they suck at realistically recording how you actually drive in "Real World" conditions.

Take a look in the manual for the fuse that is related to the OBD port. I know it also supplies many other components. Not near my manuals right now so i can't help you.

Or do a search for OBD fuse. More than one thread on that. Shouldn't be too tough to research.

I have checked every fuse in the car! I plugged my scanner in to it as well and seems to be working fine!

No lights? No Lights in the Instrument Cluster? No warning lights? No parking lights? No head lights? No tail Lights? No brake lights?

How about being more specific on which lights aren't working?

Odometer working? Does it say "nobus"?

Trunk ajar light, turn signal indicators, and high beam inbdicators probably work (like the oil pressure light, they are directly wire driven - no electronics).

Cluster connectors not making good contact? Cluster crapping out?

Double check Fuses 7 and 14.

Ignition switch getting power to Fuse 14?

We said it was most likely a fuse.
