B&e

My car was vandlise today. Broke the passagener front window and tore up the dash a little bit. Took the radio and all my cd's. I was leaving basketball practice at the junior high I coach at. All so hit my assistant coach SUV. Hopefully it will not be to expensive to get it repaired. Money is at and all time low right now. My insurance deductable is 200, probably will not file a claim.

Why not stop by a yard and pick up a window?
Might save you a few $ replacing it yourself.

Sorry to hear about the B & E, my dad is crazy about anti theft with his cars. He buys fake main ignition cables and cuts the internal plugs, this feeds all of the spark plugs from the distributor. He cant do it with the newer cars since i dont think they have a main one anymore. But its really cool, the car starts but if u give it gas, it will just turn off and die.

One time in FL this black guy tried to steal our minivan but couldnt get it started LOL. What kind of douche steals a Canadian plate car, how the F are we gonna get back home with our boat and luggage. Plus it was a POS van. A woman near by tried to help him by giving him a boost and thats when we saw him boot it, she was so lost.

"I just saw a man trying to start the car, so i was going to help, but where is he now?" LOL

At least he didnt take anything.

On a funny side note, my friend has his own theft measures, he rearranges the spark plug wires and unplugs the fuel pump fuse on his old 240sx. One day he had to walk home when he couldnt get the right sequence. Funniest shit ever.

That sucks man. If you can get the glass from a salvage yard, you should be able to put it back in yourself fairly easy. I'm assuming it was an aftermarket head unit that they took right? Where were the CD's in the car? I leave nothing in sight in my car. Even tend to leave the ash tray door open to show them there's not even any change in the car. Always lock my glove box too, that way they don't have any way to get hold of my address if they do get into the car. What part of the dash did they tear up? Is it the center section around the stereo & HVAC controls? Sounds like kids to me. Assuming you filed a police report right? If it was on school grounds, there may be security cameras in the parking lot. Could be worth a look-see. When my 1st gen got stolen, i went to the museum across the street and they happily pulled the video from that night for me to look at. Of course, the camera was pointing in the wrong direction. Still nice of them though.

Yes it was an after market radio. I was unaware people still stole car radios. The cd's was on the floor in the back. No cameras, I picked up a window, and 32 is going to help me out.
