Need an opinion or 12

Iv been looking at my motor sense i did all the painting and i keep thinking that the intake tube sticks out to much it just seems to not fit the look under the hood.
so I'm thinking of painting the tube with the dupli-color metalcast blue to get a more even look and still maintain the metal appearance of the aluminum tube.
heres a pic to give everybody an idea of the color the tube will be once its painted.
i hope it works ok iv never used the metalcast before and don't know how much of a pain in the ass it might be

what do you guys think should i or shouldn't i?

Too Much blue can ruin it you know.

I like to mix up things sometimes.

Yea I don't know I kinda agree^^^. I think it looks good as it sits but its your car you can do anything you want. If you do paint it the color looks like it would match ok. I like the intake the way it is imo.

I think that the intake kinda stands out too much my self... I'd paint it black, honestly, to match the upper intake runners.

I would do the black Metalcast...which should give it a cool looking black chrome look. Maybe scuff the tube with a scotchbrite to give it an interesting pattern before shooting the Metalcast over it.

I like it the way it is. I think it looks sweet with the chrome tube and blue/black combination on the engine. If you painted it blue it would be too much blue IMO.
